The Serevi Rugby® Academy Residence Camp is a periodic, intensive, week-long immersion in professional-level rugby.
Residence Camps target both high school and college-aged athletes, most of whom are early identified by our national network of coaches and partners. Which feeds the development system with a steady stream of high-end and high-potential talent.
With both 7s and XVs tracks, the demands mirror those of a national team camp and, therefore, are the training benchmark for emerging high performance talent.
Staffed by current and former international players and coaches, Residence Camp is an immersicompetitive environment in which players develop physically and cognitively, under the direct supervision of our world-class coaches. Developed in conjunction with USA Sevens Head Coaches Matt Hawkins and Ric Suggitt, this camp serves as a means to emulate and extend the training environment to a broader number of Olympic and national team hopefuls.
Approximately 50 players can participate in a given Residence Camp, and locations rotate to provide access to athletes throughout the Americas. Prior Residence Camps have been held in Seattle, Washington and in Chula Vista, California at the USA Olympic Training Center.
During Residence Camps, you'll work daily with other high-performance athletes, in dedicated gyms, classrooms, and on the rugby pitch, focusing on:
