Atavus, the leader in coaching consultation and player performance analysis, announced today that the Red River Rugby Collegiate Conference and the LoneStar Collegiate Rugby Conference have selected Atavus to provide coaching education and player development services to both. The two collegiate conferences are the latest rugby organizations to adopt the “Powered by Atavus” focus on comprehensive training programs for players, mentorship for coaches, and effective and engaging support materials to help rugby organizations at all levels achieve their long-term goals.

“Our goal is to improve the quality of rugby in the conference, as well as to participate in the growth of the sport nationally,” said TeShay Flowers, commissioner of the Red River Conference. “After attending previous Atavus training camps, I knew that their approach would help us improve performance.”

Atavus will provide the conferences multiple seminars, camps aimed at high school and college players, webinars, hands-on coaching resources, session planning, and individual coach mentoring. Additionally, Atavus will support the conferences with marketing and logistical assistance.

“The relationship with Atavus expands our capabilities and gives our programs access to resources that will accelerate success,” said Shayne Roberson, commissioner of the LoneStar Conference. “Rugby in Texas is growing quickly, and Atavus can help ensure we continue to produce top-quality experiences for everyone involved.”
